Tingley HazProof Steel Toe PR Work Boots not only meet ASTM standards, but they also meet NFPA for HazProof.
The Tingley boots are HazProof certified for chemical and hazmat cleanup as well as for emergency response and domestic preparedness. Injection molded seamless construction gives you 100-percent liquid-proof protection. You're ready to deal with hazardous materials and disasters.
Other safety features include a steel toe to meet ASTM standards for protective toe and compliance with electrical hazard and puncture resistance standards.
The smooth exterior surface of these hazmat boots makes for easy decontamination while a larger foot area was specially designed to accommodate the extra bulk of an encapsulated suit.
Topping off the safety is the color: bright orange for high visibility. You have important work to do and can't be distracted by thinking about whether others can see you. These boots just give an extra element of visibility.
For comfort, inside is a steel shank for firm arch support and a blown closed-cell EVA midsole for cushion comfort.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
