The men's Downdraft with StepVent™ technology has unparalleled interior air flow, keeping feet dry and comfortable. With StepVent, the midsole acts as an air pump, powered by ISN compression, and pushes air from the heel through a ventilated, removable footbed to the raised toe channel and then up and out through tongue and collar spacer mesh.
This 6 inch boot delivers on safety as well. The lightweight alloy toe meets the I/75 and C/75 impact and compression for the ASTM F2413 safety standards. The Downdraft also provides secondary underfoot protection against electrical hazards.
Waterproof, seam-sealed Ever-Guard™ brown leather uppers hold up to wear. A protective exterior coating on the toe and extending up the toe channel provides abrasion resistance for objects you might brush against. A padded collar with a hiker profile allows for mobility and adds comfort and stability to the ankle area. A pull tab helps with foot placement and lace up design secures fit. Cement construction makes these boots flexible, reducing break-in time. Anti-Fatigue Technology reduces shock and returns energy to the foot with a contoured shock diffusion plate and EVA midsole.
The Timberland PRO Independent Suspension Network™ (ISN) Rubber outsole provides exceptional resistance to slips on wet and oily surfaces keeping you steady on your feet. And also has high abrasion resistance and heat resistance up to 572 degrees F.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75

Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
