New Balance Logic Men's Composite Toe Puncture-Resisting Athletic Work Shoe
New technologies set the Logic athletic work shoe apart from previous New Balance work footwear offerings. This lace-up style has a textile upper, in Navy blue, with Debris Free construction, which keeps debris out from the shoe. Toe Protect bumpers supply additional exterior abrasion protection while a composite toe cap within the shoe meets ASTM F2413 standards for impact and compression. These shoes also supply underfoot protection. Kevlar, when combined with an Acteva foam midsole gives you comfort and puncture-resisting protection underfoot. These shoes meet ASTM F2413 standards for electrical hazard and puncture resistance. A rubber outsole, ideal for indoor use, makes full contact with the ground surface and meets or exceeds ASTM F3445 slip standards for work footwear. Airport friendly, these work shoes do not contain metal components.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear. -
