Description

Exceptionally durable, safe and comfortable, the Hammer A-Max by Avenger gives you a work boot with state-of -the-art technologies, preparing you for a full day of work in a challenging outdoor work environment.

This black lace-up safety boot has a 6 inch aramid fiber upper. Used in military applications, aramid fiber is five times stronger than steel, giving you exceptional abrasion resistance with an added benefit of heat resistance. Exterior heel and toe guards provide another level of resistance to areas that see the most wear. Flex welt construction cements the upper a highly heat-, oil- and slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole. The 90-degree defined heel gives you secure footing and assists with a safe climb up ladders.

Inside the Hammer, waterproof membrane construction keeps feet dry and a removable, dual density Rebound insole keeps feet comfortable. Underfoot a strategically-placed Lenzi plate protects the soles of feet from sharps, such as nails and meets ASTM requirements for puncture resistance. Also meeting ASTM requirements is a carbon fiber safety toe that is light weight and roomy and will protect toes from falling objects and compression. And this boot also meets requirements for electrical hazard resistance.

  • Protective Toe
    Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
    Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Puncture Resistant
    PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.

    This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
