Additional Information

The uppers of these Rocky® S2V boots are strong leather (it's resistant to both water and flash), breathable, yet hard-wearing, Cordura® (resists abrasions like no other) with well-fitting Lycra® tongue. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) has been applied to the footwear to provide additional flame resistance. This combination of materials allows these Berry-compliant boots to fit comfortably and be highly durable.

Since heavy objects could plummet unexpectedly, or you could be walking in hazardous areas, these steel toe boots meet the ASTM Protective Toe standards. (The toes are able to endure up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.) The boots also meet ASTM standards for electrical hazard.

A Dri-Lex® lining provides comfort and wicks away perspiration. Utilizing cutting-edge S2V Sieve™ technology, these boots disperse of water rapidly (better than the usual drain plugs), are breathable and circulate air to keep your feet feeling cool and dry. A Rocky Air-Port™ cushion footbed gives you a comfortable step, as the Aegis Microbe Shield® helps fight bacteria, odor and fungus.

You'll have steady footing and arch support due to the fiberglass shank of these S2V boots. The high-walled Vibram® outsole is durable (allows it to last), is lightweight and resists abrasions. Roll-Stop Ankle Stability™ ensures the structure is sturdy and it helps prevent your ankles from rolling inside your boots.

They're made in the USA with top-quality materials, have a protective toe, provide extreme comfort and unparalleled durability. There's no better choice for you than these Rocky S2V Steel Toe Boots.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.

Rocky S2V Steel Toe Tactical Military Boot is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Degrading Quality I bought the boots a few weeks ago, but I am very disappointed with the new pairs. The quality was not as expected, especially for the price. This is my second pair, but I won’t be buying another if this is what I get. Since I needed the boots and did not have time to return it, I was stuck with an expensive and low quality pair of boots. The liners were not completely glued to the steel toe sections on both boots. I had to put a lot of newspapers in the toe section to temporarily fix it. Both boots still give me some discomforts when wearing it. I also bought the exact size as my first pair, but the second pair was much bigger for some reasons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seam Came Undone Along the Outside I bought this pair boots around the beginning of October, 2017 (around six months ago). I have worn them in my workshop, while doing yard work, and just daily wear around town. But, recently, a seam has come unraveled along the outside of my left boot. The vertical seam right next to the ankle. If I were to wear them anymore I'm afraid the boot would just fall apart entirely. Keep in mind that I have only put moderate use into them, nothing too taxing as I work in a woodshop. Outside of this, my only other complaint would be a couple of partings around the sole (glue coming undone). That can be easily fixed, this however, cannot. They have been a very comfortable and good fitting pair boot until these things happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth The Investment This is my 3rd pair of S2V's. Both my sage pairs are still servicable from 2016 and 2017. Now for coyotes with my OCPs. These are such durable boots and comfy so comfy I wear them both on and off duty. Im full time ANG and in maintenance. Worth the money, you cant cheap out on footwear when its so vital to your job. My only gripe is there is the only goretex pair are winter boots. I have bellevilles for rain/snow to alternate. Would gladly pay for non winter goretex steel toe S2Vs. Needless to say I will be wearing Rockys til the day I die. Highly recommend they look great and feel even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wear Test Complete I don’t like to review things straight out of the box because you have to break footwear like this in. It might take your feet some getting used to them, but now that I’ve had these boots for over 6 months they’re ready for my verdict. Easily the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned. Very lightweight and extremely comfortable. I have custom orthotics and they slide right in. As long as I wear this uniform, these will be my go-to boots, even if I have to come out of my own pocket again. Easily worth the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot yet. I've been working in the construction trades for over 25 years now. I've tried dozens of different boots and this one by far is the best. The foot, ankle and associated leg pain is now gone. No blisters or pinch points right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots These are very nice boots. They look great with my military uniform. I would rave about how comfortable they are, except that the left boot is not comfortable. The plastic/hard lining inside the fabric rubs up against my ankle. I was/ hoping this goes away as I break them in, but after a few weeks the issue has only slightly abated. I don't have this issue with the right boot. So, the boots are very comfortable, minus the issue I mentioned with the left boot... Otherwise, a solid product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rugged boot I’ve had this boot for a bit and they are now broken in. They are pretty tough, durable and comfortable, however, once they broke in they started this REALLY annoying squeak every time I step.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing boot I had bought my first pair 2 years ago (desert tan) and this time i got coyote brown. The fact these held up for 2 years. And the steel toe is what i need for work and has saved my feet multiple times since i deal with heavy machines. And the shipping. I ordered my pair on tuesday. And they just got here today. 2 days when i selected 3-5. By far the best thing i have ever ordered and will stay faithful to rockys. Best amd favorite boot ive ever owned. Thanks to the rocky team.
