The Royer Steel Toe Puncture-Resistant Work Oxford gives you the look of an oxford shoe with the protection of a tough work shoe.
These men's shoes have a steel toe that is compliant with ASTM standards for impact and compression, and the oxfords meet ASTM standards for puncture resistance and electrical hazard resistance. They meet CSA Grade 1 requirement.
Inside is a steel shank to support your foot and a lightweight, non-metallic insole that gives you that puncture resistance. You get protection from possibly stepping on nails without the addition of a metal plate. That's really convenient if you often pass through metal detectors during the course of your work.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear. -
