Lehigh Safety Shoes: 6" Lehigh Steel Toe Work Boot

5236

Lehigh Safety Shoe Co. has been providing protective toe safety shoes since the early 1920's initially under the name of Lehigh Rubber and Leather Company.

One of the sturdiest Lehigh shoes through the years has been Lehigh 6" Work Boot stock # 5236. It has an extremely rugged rubber outsole that has excellent heat and chip resistance.

As a further addition, Lehigh stock # 5236 work boot also complies with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

If you are interested in seeing a different color Lehigh style that shares these same key features, please check out the Lehigh Brown 6" Work Boot stock # 5235.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Lately I have had three pairs of these boots over the years. never had an issue until the last year. Had to have the boot replaced by Lehigh three times all for quality issues. One, the entire sole started to seperate. Two, the tongue was so far off center the boot would not tie up properly.Three, four of the eyelets came out and started to tear the material around the eyelet holes.Replaced by Lehigh everytime, but the quality has gotten to the point that I will never buy another pair. have switched to Timberland and am very happy with them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spend an extra few bucks and avoid. The back of my heals wore through the lining in just a few weeks. They are heavy and have never gotten comfortable. they were the only ones they had in the store that my company would cover the full price. I will spend the difference next time and get something better.
