If you are looking for the convenience of a slip-on with a protective toe and features appropriate for indoor work on slick surfaces around expensive machinery and/or equipment, then consider the men's Thorogood VGS-300 ASR work slip-on shoe.
This slip-on has a composite safety toe that meets the ASTM standard for impact and compression. It also meets ASTM requirements for static dissipation and is metal-free and nonmarring.
Made of premium tumbled leather, this shoe has a padded collar and tongue with narrow stretch panels that stretch for foot placement. An ASR (Athletic Slip Resisting) rubber outsole both grips and disperses moisture through channels within the tread pattern.
This safety shoe is comfortable with flexible cement construction. An EVA midsole provides cushion; the composite shank supports your arches. A VGS (Visible Gel System) embedded within the heel reduces the stress of impact and won't deflate over time. The interior has a soft lining with a removable polyurethane footbed.

Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
