You can have an affordable general purpose boot that is not short on comfort, fit and safety. This Tingley Pilot Steel Toe Puncture Resistant Knee Boot delivers on all counts.
Certified features keep you safe. Meeting ASTM standards for impact and compression these boots will keep toes safe with an internal metal toe cap. And these boots meet the same standard for electrical hazard resistance. Additional protection from sharps underfoot is provided a puncture-resistant plate that is CSA-certified.
Injection molded construction with a PVC upper, gives you boots that are waterproof with some resistance to chemicals, such as acids, fats and oils. A seamless 15 inch PVC upper remains supple in cold temperatures and makes walking easier. Additional comfort comes from Calf Relief Expansion (CRE) technology, which allows the boot to expand up to 1.5 inches, giving you more room. An EVA removable cushion insole wicks away perspiration, helping keep feet dry.
A defined heel helps with climbing. Cleated outsoles have channels that assist with dispersing debris, giving these boots traction and easy clean up. The outsole material will also withstand wear on a variety of surfaces.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance
Soles that provide electric shock resistance. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
