New Balance industrial footwear combines the benefits of a light weight, high performance athletic shoe with the materialization and certified safety features required for work in an industrial environment.

The New Balance Composite Toe 589 has a combination leather and mesh upper with a reinforced toe bumper. The flanged composition toe cap is ASTM-approved for impact and compression. The padded collar and lace up design ensure a comfortable fit.

Underfoot the 589 has a rubber outsole that meets or exceeds ASTM F2913-11 requirements for slip-resistance in oily and wet environments - keeping you covered indoors and outdoors. The 589 is also non-metallic and ASTM rated for secondary protection against electrical hazards.

Inside an EVA foam insert provides exceptional shock absorption, reducing foot fatigue. A removable comfort insole rounds out the features of this shoe.
