This black 6-inch boot has a premium full-grain upper. The composite toe meets or exceeds the same ASTM F2413 protective toe standards as a steel toe. The Workstead meets the CSA SD+ standards making this style ideal for work areas where electrostatic discharge is a concern. Underfoot, is an abrasion-resistant thermal plastic urethane (TPU) outsole that is oil- and slip-resistant.
This boot has a durable anti-fatigue polyurethane footbed. The footbed has dynamic arch support and it absorbs shock then returns energy at key zones of the foot. Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
