Additional Information

Michelin:   6 " Michelin Steel Toe Metatarsal Work Boot

XPX763

Michelin:   The development of Michelin work footwear is the latest extension of the Michelin brand.   Using knowledge and expertise developed from producing tires and applying it to the occupational footwear market, Michelin now offers a new class of high performance boots and shoes.

There have been many upgrades in technology over time allowing for better Lehigh products.   One of the most significant changes for Lehigh through the years has been its being acquired by Rocky Brands in 2005.   This has helped open the door to some excellent production additions to the Lehigh line including those from the Michelin brand including 6 " Michelin Steel Toe Internal Metatarsal Work Boot stock # XPX763.

Michelin safety shoes are made with high quality rubber outsoles combining both excellent slip resistant and wear qualities.

A key comfort feature of the XPX763 is its contoured removable orthotic TPU insole that is excellent for those seeking arch support.   The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features.  The rigid TPU material helps provide underfoot support in the arch area.

In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, the Michelin XPX763 work boot also has an ASTM F2413-05 compliant metatarsal guard helping provide extra protection to the instep area along with the toes.

XPX763 also complies with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

If you have interest in a Michelin 6 " External Metatarsal work boot with the similar features, please check Michelin stock # XPX761 on our site.

If you have interest in a Michelin 8 " External Metatarsal work boot with similar features, please check Michelin stock # XPX781 on our site.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
    • Full-grain leather
    • Shock absorbent midsole
    • ASTM F2413 protective toe classification
    • ASTM F2413 electrical hazard standard
    • ASTM F2413 metatarsal guard standards
    • 6 Inches in height
Michelin Steel Toe Internal Met Guard Work Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised I was looking for a boot that would fit my professional and personal life. These boots hit the mark. The only negative thing "for a lack of better words" that these boots did are the toe tread ripped off "does not affect boot" and their weight "I got used to it quick". Other than that these boots actually have an arc for my feet no other boot I have worn does " Justin, Wolverine, Timberland, Ariat". The metatarsal protection is stiff at first, but loosens up after a few day. I love these boots, best I have ever had. Thank You Michelin!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Internal Metatarsal for the win Love these boots, but I have to say if your planning on buying a pair you better buy some Dr Scholls. Also recommend buying the Dr Scholls for construction as the regular Dr Scholls insoles fall apart under constant work. Without the insoles the boots are alright for a couple weeks but you'll find yourself with aching feet, especially after a few long days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best work boots I've ever owned This is my 5th pair of these boots. I buy a new pair every year whether I need to or not. New ones for work and I take the old ones home cause they still have life to them. Excellent tread for any condition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't think get calcium on them. I had the boots for a year and three months before they started falling apart. (Kinda my fault due to my line of work.) one of my longest lasting pair of boots.
