The men's Tungsten Hiker by Refrigiwear is an insulated hiker with the safety features of a work boot and comfort of an athletic.
Featuring 600 grams of 3M Thinsulate Ultra insulation, this 6 inch nubuck leather work hiker will keep feet warm without the bulk. These hikers also are waterproof, keeping feet dry and comfortable. Additional comfort features are built in underfoot with the VitaComfort™ system, which absorbs shock and increases breathability inside the boot, giving you the support and stability of a work boot with the feel of a sneaker.
An interior composite safety toe meets the ASTM standard impact and compression. On the exterior, bumper guards on the toe and heel mitigate abrasion, extending the life of these boots. Protection is provided underfoot - the Tungsten Hiker also meets ASTM standards for electrical hazard resistance. An Anti-Slip RefrigiWear outsole provides sure footing with a rubber heel plate.
