Additional Information

SlipGrips Steel Toe Slip-Resistant Oxford are men's black shoes with the safety features you need. These steel toe shoes meet ASTM standards for impact and protection, as well as for electrical hazard resistance.

A contoured removable polyurethane COMFORT MAX insole provides you with all-day comfort while the steel shank provides additional foot support. A breathable lining helps air circulate to your feet. The side-stitch construction reinforces the oxford shoes for durability.

The outsoles give you the slip-resistance you want, and then do even more. These rubber Spider Grip hiker outsoles also are heat-resistant, abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant and oil-resistant. They have been MARK II ASTM F 1677 tested for slip resistance.

For the comfort and safety, get steel toe work shoes from SlipGrips.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Comfort Max™
These boots take comfort to the max! Constructed with an extra-thick, free-breathing, polyurethane removable insert, Comfort Max provides your foot flexibility and increased comfort for all-day wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from it's good enough for me to reorder ... I use the shoe for work as a Section 8 Housing Quality Standards Inspector...With the steel toe, feel you should go half-size larger (I should know...have callouses due to ordering and using for over two years the same model...have reordered and received the same shoe again, this time 1/2 size larger...sometimes, I think if the shoe lacing can be improved so that I don't have to re-tie the shoe laces ever so often...Overall, this shoe has been performing great...haven't slipped, hasn't shown much sole wear...looks almost like a dress shoe...!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Second pair, not as comfortable I am a pastry chef and these shoes are my chef shoes of choice. My last pair were perfect in every way, but were showing signs of wear. I ordered new ones in size 14 but the new ones feel a tad small and are irritating my big toes a bit. I'm hoping that they will break in and not cause continuous discomfort. The original pair are so comfortable - strong support, pillow insoles, proper room for toes. The second pair isn't a successful sequel!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not impressed The back of the shoe is low...too low for me. it doesn't feel like it would be secure on my foot. It is also a pretty heavy shoe. The insert has a core at the heel of rubber that goes through to the bottom. and has what looks like breathable holes towards the toes...but it kind of looks like someone grabbed a needle and put holes through it.Just on appearance of the shoe, it doesn't seem like it will cut it. I will be returning them for different ones because the size is too small. (I ordered my size on timberlands last year and they fit fine).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feet have been saved! I bought these shoes for my husband, who stands on his feet for 9-14 hours every day that he works as a cook. He had been having immense foot pain and swelling, and we had tried many different kinds of shoes, all of which had to be slip-resistant, but nothing worked very well - until now. Since getting his SlipGrips, he's raved about how much better his feet feel. The way the heel is constructed seems to really be working well for him. The pain and swelling have receded and he's no longer considering a career change!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe Glad to find a dress shoe to wear when I visit customers. Looks great and padded inner is nice when standing on location. I would also like in brown, but black goes well too. Price great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Heavy I thought for the price these would be a good shoe. The previous reviews were good enough for me to purchase. After using them for several months my feet began to hurt. I beat my shoes up pretty good and these did hold up well to my abuse. But they became too uncomfortable to wear after about 6 months. These shoes are twice as heavy as previous shoes I bought. Nearly 800 g's a piece compared to 500g's for my old style. I wish Lehigh would put this info on their web page.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistantly Outstanding I've been wearing the slip resistant Oxfords since culinary school in 2008. Haven't had a want or a need to change since. They are both comfortable AND work appropriate. I purchase one pair a year. Previous to 2008, my kitchen shoes gave me blisters and foot pain, due to lack of support and overall padding. I have had no such issues since my switch. I thank you, as do my employers. Happy feet, happy worker!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, dependable performance. The steel toed shoes were a bit stiff at first. The right foot had a bit of soreness and discomfort until it formed to better fit my foot, but the left shoe was comfortable right from the first wear. I had the same style of shoe for two years prior and had the same experience. The first pair is still in usable shape and works well for my part-time job, while I use this new pair for my full-time job.
