KEEN Utility® Mt Vernon Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boot are men's safety shoes with the look of a hiker.
This hard-working and high-performance boot is assembled in Portand, OR. With a steel toe to keep you safe on the job, these cascade brown shoes meet ASTM standards for impact and compression. They also meet ASTM standards for electrical hazard. These boots can stand up to medium to heavy duty work.
Wearing these work hiking shoes, you'll be comfortable and confident about your footing. The asymmetrical toe caps ensure an anatomically correct fit. The midsole is shock-absorbing and the rubber outsole resists oils and slips. The men's shoes are durable, as well. This includes the scuff-resistant toe and quality full-grain leather.

Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.

Just OK...Been about a year with these boot. They are very comfortable and lightweight. I work in a water plant so they get wet frequently. The waterproof membrane held up for about 6-8 months. At this point there are breaks in the stitching and where the leather meets the sole is separating. I applied sno-seal ever few months and that helped the leather hold up a bit better. After looking at numerous reviews on Amazon I'm starting to doubt the build quality of Keen boots in general.
