Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
The Chippewa Composite Toe Waterproof Work Boots are compliant with ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 requirements for protective toe classification and electrical hazard standards. The seam sealed construction of these rugged boots helps keep feet dry and comfortable and the leather uppers keep you protected from the elements while the Dri-Lex moisture wicking lining offers a comfortable fit. The composite toe also adds to the protection offered in these 5-inch brown lacers. Choose the Chippewa Composite Toe Waterproof Work Boots for a durable and comfortable fit.

Still going after 2 years.Work requires that I wear safety shoes daily, and I'm really tough on them. They are used in a saltwater environment, so the glues usually let go first. Most only last 6-8 months. I bought a pair of these 2 years ago and they are still going. The leather is cracking, the sole is starting to separate, and I've walked most of the tread off. However, they have lasted longer than any other boot I've ordered in 10 years. I have A width feet and am able to lace them to fit comfortably. I plan to order another pair to replace my current ones.

Great bootsI am about to go buy my third pair of these boots. I am hard on boots and I can get about 1 and a half summers out of these, and I'm fine with that. I've found you can get really rugged boots that will last for many years, but they are generally really heavy and not very comfortable. These boots are really light weight and comfortable, and about as durable as you are going to get in a boot this comfortable. I do a lot of walking, digging, and playing in the mud, and they have yet to fail me..... I'd rather have really comfortable boots that only last a year than be in a miserable heavy pair of boots for 3 or 4 years.

Good shoe, but...Seems like a good shoe. They are not the most comfortable shoe I've had but aren't bad. They are noisy! Walking on tile or hardwood... squeak, squeak, squeak with every step. Also, where the tongue tucks in under the laces, that squeaks too but at a lower pitch. I usually wear a 9.5EW or a 10EW. Had to get these in a 9 EW.
