Avenger Composite Toe Waterproof Hikers feature water-resistant leather that keeps your feet comfortably protected from the elements. The lightweight construction gets air to your feet while keeping water out. The leather is flexible and comfortable, but holds up against the rigors of a jobsite with ease.
The composite safety toe cap is a lightweight solution to protecting your toes. These boots meet ASTM 2413 Impact/Compression standards, so you know your feet are safe. They're also ASTM Electrical Hazard rated to protect you from open electrical circuits of 14,000 volts at 60 Hz.
Despite being safety toe boots, this is non-metallic footwear. You can easily get through metal detectors and there's no exposed metal that could scratch surfaces.
It's hard to imagine men's work boots this tough that also keep you comfortable on your feet all day, but Avenger has made comfort a top priority with these hikers. Details like a removable dual-density insole and molded EVA midsole for lightweight support contribute to the comfort of the shoes. The slip- and oil-resistant outsoles are made of durable EVA rubber for better traction and resistance to corrosion.
