Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance
Soles that provide electric shock resistance. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes.

Great fit, quality build.I first found these boots when I was unable to get my usual Red Wing order due to major issues on their end. I am glad my search brought me here. I was unsure how they would fit and feel after reading some reviews but after a week of wearing them 8+ hours a day, I love them. They fit great out of the box (size 8D), little tight getting on and off the first few times and stiff when driving the first day but have broken in nicely already. If you wear PR boots regularly like I do, they can be heavy and cumbersome, these are not. The composite toe is lightweight and the box shape allows for extra room in the toe without being too much room. They keep my feet warm and dry, even thought they do not have insulation. The comfort level is amazing, I have tried just about every brand of work boot in my 20+ years working on heavy construction and remediation sites and these are by far the most comfortable. For me they fit true to size. It is hard to say on durability at this point, but I think that varies for each person based on your daily work conditions and other factors, but my feeling is that these will hold up and last just fine. And if they do, Ariat has a customer for life.

The Best Boots Hands DownI have bought 4 pairs of these boots. Two of those pairs were for my employees. The first pair I owned I wore for 3 years before I had to buy my second pair. I wear my boots almost every day, no less than 5 days out of the week. These boots are no joke.

First time buyerI bought these boots about a month ago and seriously they're the most comfortable boots straight from the box I've ever worn they are extremely lightweight. My only complaints are the leather on the toes are way to soft and easily marked up and they fit half size to large. All that aside and assuming they hold up these are my favorite boots and I'd definitely recommend them to others.

Comfortable and DependableI bought these in July of 2018 and always refrain from reviewing products until broken in thoroughly. I have worn these on a tractor mowing fields on the hottest days and wore them this week in subzero temps clearing snow. They have excellent traction in wet environments and on hydraulic lifts although they do not hold the best on ice - though what does other than having something like StabilIcers? The only issue I've had is when in deep (4") of water they are not fully waterproof - I was clearing around storm drains of slush/snow mix and my feet were wet after several minutes but they usually do great in rain, puddles, etc.
Pros:
Comfortable after broken in
Very resistant to water though not fully waterproof
Good Traction
Durable
Warm enough in cold environments
Cons:
Heavy
Leak in more extreme wet environments
As a first-time Ariat buyer, I would purchase a pair of Ariats again without question.
My understanding is that this boot fits true to size. Order the size you most commonly wear. Try the boot on well in the comfort of your home. If it does not meet your needs or fit as desired, use of free returns service to return the boot.
