Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75

Great for weatherSolid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

Happy with the boot so far.So good...so far! True test will be in the winter. They're very comfortable indeed. This is my 1st pair of Carhartt boots, I've heard good things about the quality being better than Keen & Merrill to which I've bought before & haven't lasted long. Fingers crossed & expectations are high these will last longer than the others. If so I'll be buying Carhartt boots from here on out!

Good bootsGreat boots, I really like them and waterproof holds up pretty good. However I am giving it a 4 star because the back of my boots are peeling off and I don’t mind them getting like this but I am unsure of the reasoning behind it.
