    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.

Georgia Boot Hammer HD Composite Toe Waterproof Work Boot is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tariable stitching I bought the boots just under two months ago and the stitches behind the heel, were it meets leather to leather have completely separated. No longer water proof. Still look new!? Have not used any oils or chemicals on them. I will be going back to sportsmen warehouse in the morning to complain about the boots. My first pair of Georgia boots, and not happy at all. Have not even broke them in yet only wear them for work. I work in a construction fabrication plant. So most of the time I'm in side. Also the toe needs to be covered or coated with something the soft leather scuffs up easy. So much for extra stitches!? Would not recommend these boots to anyone never had a pair of boots fall apart this fast, it's a disgrace of a boot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor stitching I have owned these boots for only 1.5 months now and the stitching is already pulling loose down by where the laces start. Did not expect a 180 dollar pair of boots to start wearing so quickly. I will not be purchasing these again

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great The only part about these boots that I like is the wide toe box, as I have bunions. But, apart from that, the quality is low. The stitching around the heel came out very early on, and the leather to leather stitching failed in several places shortly after. The waterproofing was never effective. I had to immediately change the insoles that came with them, as they were super uncomfortable and left little room for my toes. So, though they provide adequate room in the toes, I think they need much improvement. Not to mention, they look like clown shoes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from still needs improvement I gave up on Georgia boot b/c the speed lacing was not designed well . . . I was given a chance to try a new pair (thank you GB) . . . the speed lacing "latches" are better - deeper, hold laces better - but - they should be "clickable" or have a tactile feature so you can "hear" the laces go in (similar to my other hunting boots) . . . the "latches" could be deeper, still better designed . . . I have the composite toes - but it would greatly help if the toes (on the outside) had a rubber or plastic "guard" similar to a Timberland boot . . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I purchased these 4 months ago, after being a die hard Red Wing fan. Red Wing changed something in design and inserts. Boots holding up very well. I would recommend applying the kevlar boot guard to the toe if you spend alot of time on your knees. For my narrow high arched feet these boots have been great! Haven't needed to change insole yet. If I can get 6 more months from these (I don't see any reason why I wouldn't at this point) I will be a die hard Georgia Boots fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hammer Georgia Boot I purchased these boots for my son who is partially disabled from a 4-wheeler accident. He wears a brace on his left foot. He loved the boots immediately. He said they are better than he thought they would be. After standing in the new boots, he said his foot wasn't as hurtful as his old boots. Thank you.
