This Ariat WorkHog western work boot has the certified safety features you need to be protected and compliant on the job. A puncture-resistant, metal-free SWEN-FLEX® insole board meets CSA Grade 1 standards for Grade 1 sole protection and electrical shock resistance, providing protection from hazards underfoot. The wide square composite safety toe is lightweight and meets ASTM standards for impact and compression, protecting toes from falling objects and rollover. These WorkHogs also meet ASTM standards for electrical hazard resistance.
Prepare for the elements by pulling on a pair of these 11 inch Ariat WorkHog boots. With the U-Turn® entry system, these pull-on boots go on easy. Hidden elastic panels inside the shaft stretch to help with access and foot placement. Once inside, feet will remain dry with an impermeable layer of waterproofing and a waterproof full-grain leather foot. And feet will be warm with 600 grams of 3M Thinsulate™ insulation. A rubber Duratread™ outsole is heat resistant - passing the hot contact test at 300 degrees C. And this abrasion-resistant outsole also is oil and slip resistant.
Remain on your feet and stable with Ariat's ATS Max® platform. A removable moisture-wicking footbed has gel pads and a heel stabilizer for comfort. An EVA midsole delivers lightweight cushioning; the extra-wide shank provides arch support. Quality Goodyear Welt construction attaches the platform to the upper, giving you a strong, long-lasting boot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
Insulated

CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
