Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPER COMFORTABLE!!!!!!!!!! & long lasting I got the S2V boots size 13 wide last November. I live in New Jersey we had a wet, cold and very white winter. I wore them all winter and they kept my feet warm and dry as well as non winter snow boot can. The S2V are the best boots I ever had. I am on my feet 14 hours a day. My knees were killing me before I got them. I still have some pain but not bad. I am a 250 lbs guy most boots I had would be trashed by now. My S2V's just as good as the day I got them. Getting a pair of steel toe now, only cuz my job wants them now. Do yourself a favor spend the money they are worth it. I can work more overtime with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot and great customer service I purchased a set of S2V coyote brown for my Afghanistan deployment through AAFES. They were on back order for two months (because of my size), and when I got them, I wore them for four days on a live fire range and the leather toe near the seam on the outside of the boot ripped. I called AAFES to schedule a return, but could not get any help from them. I then called Rocky directly, and they replaced the boots without much difficulty; even when I live in one State, mobilized out of a second state 1/2 way across the U.S. and then deployed overseas before the second boots arrived. Customer service was excellent. This is my second set of Rocky S2V and I swear by them for comfort and durability despite the manufacture defect on this set. I will buy them again in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The looks do not match the fit. This is a great looking boot, but did not fit correctly. I could not return the boot since even though it was only worn once, I wore it out of the house. Make sure the boot fits before you leave the house! I had a boot repairman examine it and he diagnosed a factory defect that causes the boot to rub against my right ankle. He made some adjustments that helped, but I ended up soaking the boots in water and wearing them until dry. They are wearable, but still quite stiff after the first week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My feet love these boots. Without a doubt these boots are the best I've ever put on my feet. Even after 3 years of wearing these same boots every day they still feel wonderful on my feet. I couldn't ask for anything better. I've replaced the strings several times and they show some wear on the souls and the color has changed from the dirt and metal dust. Other than that they still look and wear like new. Rocky Boots are the best. I now have a new pair for dressing up and going out. I've had major foot surgery on my right foot and with 7 metal rods, screws, and connectors I wouldn't put anything on my feet for comfort except my Rocky S2V Duty Boots. I have a lot of problems walking and standing for any length of time, but my Duty boots help me get around the little bit that I need to. Thank you for being there Rocky Boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot by far Wore these boots brand new through SFAS. Held up the entire time. Didn't even switch out to another boot they were so comfortable. Didn't blister, no tears, feet were perfectly fine. Definitely recommend these boots to anyone who has any type of rigorous training or just stands around all day. Only thing I changed out on these boots was the shoelaces. I replaced with the 550 cord style shoelaces off my rocky c4t.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect From the Mountains to the Sandy Shores. This is the second pair I have purchased. The only reason I gave up the first pair was that the Vibram sole wore smooth. This boot has all the features that my job demands: Vibram Soles for fire investigaon, gripppy lugs for mountainous terrain, sand barrier and a water drain feature for beach patrol, and they are super breathable. As a matter of fact, These Rocky S2Vs saw 8 months of hard wear in a DG soil type, and if the lugs hadn't worn smooth I would have no reason to purchase new boots. In my experience, first as a wildland firefighter, then an LEO, Vibram lugs wear down fairly quickly, and I got only a little less than I expected out of the boot. If Rocky resoled boots, I would be happy to pay the fee and rotate my boots. They. Wore. That. Well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good boot, but not for my feet Day 1: Put the boots on. They felt okay. Wore them indoors for short periods to gently break them in without getting them dirty right off the bat. They were extremely rigid, even for new boots, but overall not uncomfortable. Day 2: More light indoor break-in and then I took them outside. I was just taking an easy walk and the first ~20 minutes they felt fine. Then all at once the heel cup area seemed to shift and started digging into my achiles. It's hard to describe the feeling. Kind of like the heel of the boots got stretched vertically so that the boot's heel was higher up my leg. I continued walking for another 20 to 30 minutes and doffed them to see what had happened. I could not tell anything was wrong by inspecting the boots visually and feeling inside with my hands, but when I put them back on, the heel still felt weird. Day 3: I tried putting the boots on with different sock thicknesses. No socks- very bad burning pain. "Normal" socks- burning pain. Extra thick socks- itchy burning. I also tried removing the foot bed, which hardly made a noticeable difference. VERDICT: These boots are incompatible with my personal foot geometry. They are not bad boots. They are just bad boots for me. I would recommend these boots to a friend because I think they are a very well designed and manufactured product that would be comfortable for most people.
