Additional Information

Georgia Internal Metatarsal CC Steel Toe Work Boot is a safety boot that meets three ASTM standards! Beyond that, it's also ultra-comfortable.

Safety first: it comes with a steel toe and an ASTM-certified ANTImpact internal met guard. This boot meets ASTM standards for protective toe, electrical hazard and protective metatarsal, keeping you safe on the job.

The rubber "Hammer" outsole resists oils, chemicals, heat and abrasions, but also is cushioning and flexible.

Georgia Boot's patented Comfort Core® technology is a specially-designed, polyurethane, energy-return heel plug that stores energy as it's compressed by your foot, then releases that energy as you lift your foot. The inserts also feature an Air Flow System that forces air through the insole as you walk to keep your feet cool and dry.

As if that weren't enough, also inside it is fully lined with breathable moisture-wick lining.

Goodyear® welt construction enhances the boot's strength and flexibility.

A steel shank ensures additional support while a doubled-padded leather collar provides additional comfort, so this boot is one that's easy to wear.

This high-performance 8" lace-up boot has a full-grain leather.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.

Georgia Boot Hammer Internal Metatarsal Steel Toe Work Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Narrow fit but overall a nice boot I am a woman who needed met guard/steel toe boots for work. There are not many women's boots that fit this description. So I decided to order these men's boots. I sometimes require a W size in women's shoes, but since these are men I did not order Wide. I wish that I did. The boots were surprisingly narrow (but not too narrow to warrant returning them), however after wearing them around a bit, they loosened up and are quite comfortable. The quality seems good so far. They are a nice color and seem very well made. I have not worn them much yet so I can't say much about their durability currently.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from heel broke down after 6 months they where great out of the box light comfortable , but after six months or less the padding in heel broke down no longer absorbing standing on concrete floors when insole was lifted the internal heel support was breaking and the rubber part that sits inside was no longer sitting in place but was imbedded into the cross pieces. the weight on the was not a problem as i am only 5'5" under 200 pounds and athletic build. i work in a warehouse only spend half the day on feet other half is spent at a desk or driving a forklift. i had to put insole on top to make it until next boot order.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable I strayed away from Georgia boots because they stopped making the boot I always bought and straying was a mistake. I bought a pair of wolverines and they were the worst boots I have ever owned. Just absolutely horrible. They were like ovens and they were NOT insulated. So, I bought these Georgia boots and I am very happy with them. I am a commercial electrician and I am on my feet all day for no less then 10 hours a day. Great boot. Comfortable, not hot, good anti slip properties, steel toe and electrically rated( of course ). You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great metatarsal boots These are the most comfortable metatarsal boots I have ever owned. Very little break in - they are pretty soft from day 1. The cushioning in the insole could be a bit thicker, but that may just be me. I was reluctant to buy boots online without trying them on first, but the day after they arrived, I worked 4 12hr days in them with no chafing or rubbing anywhere. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Boot For The Price These bad boys will curb-stomp a rhinocerous...you can have your buddies stomp on your feet and you won't even feel a thing. I needed something in a hurry and didnt have much time to shop; I found these and will most likely buy another pair when and if these go bad. They do weigh a bit more than I thought but I'm sure thats typical of any "met" boot. You can even walk around in at least 4" of water and they're waterproof...never ventured deeper though. Very good buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! Just bought these G8315 13W. Would recommend them without hesitation. I am a former Marine with abused knees and back. These boots help me work 10+ hour days on my feet climbing & kneeling. I have tried Bellevilles, Danners, & Red Wings. These win hands down IMHO especially for the price!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots I've Owned I've gone through a lot of boots. These are my favorite, have had them about 4 years still wear them all the time. Will buy a new pair soon just because there are scuffs and dents and cuts gathered over the years.
