How do I care for my Boots?
Avoid extreme temperatures:
•Footwear should be allowed to dry naturally before they are stored and should not be stored near any heat source.
•Footwear should be stored at temperatures not exceeding 86 degrees F. and in normal humidity (below 70%)
•Cordura Boots: Use a soft brush to remove dirt and cleaned with mild soap and warm water. When dry, apply a coat of water repellant. This will help to maintain the color and camo pattern.
•Leather Boots: Use a soft brush to remove dirt; polish may be applied to cover scuffs. Use a good leather conditioner or a very light coat of oil to keep your leather from drying and cracking.
•Duty Shoes and Boots: Use black paste polish and a good leather conditioner about 3 times a year. Suede Shoes and Boots: First remove the dirt with the help of small suede brush. Apply some suede protector and clean it with a specialized cleaner. •Patent Leather Shoes and Boots: Clean it with a soft, damp cloth using diluted detergent. Add petroleum jelly to give it a shine. In the end buff it properly to remove the excess petroleum jelly.
•Hand Sewn Shoes and Boots: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush. Use a paste polish to cover scuffs. Apply a water repellant spray and a good leather conditioner about two times a year.
•Insoles and Footbeds: Remove foot beds from footwear after use. This allows perspiration to evaporate.

What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 is the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 Health and Safety Code Section 25249.6 et al. Any company that , sells or manufactures consumer products in California, is subject to Proposition 65. Because Report Footwear sells products in California, Report Footwear is subject to Proposition 65.
Proposition 65 requires warning labels on any consumer product that may contain any of 800-plus chemicals that the State of California considers a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant. For many chemicals there is no definable amount of how much of these chemicals must be present to be considered harmful. In some instances, the State of California has set threshold levels of certain chemicals to be safe but in general the burden is on a manufacturer or seller to prove that exposure of those chemicals in their product pose no harm to the consumer.
Why does Lehigh Outfitters put warning labels on products sold outside of California?
Through Lehigh Outfitters sales online, and other dealers within California, our products are available to be shipped and/or purchased in California. If our products are brought into California without the proper warning lable, Lehigh Outfitters may still be in violation.
How come I don’t see this warning on everything I buy?
This is a California State Law and not a Federal Law. Companies that do not sell consumer products in California do not need to put this warning on their products.
Are Lehigh Outfitters Products Safe?
Our products are manufactured to meet federal and state laws for safety and restricted substances.
