We were recently discussing how we sometimes have styles with special features that we fail to appreciate ourselves and even more importantly fail to call out well to you our customers. While we feel that we have a good variety of women’s athletic styles, there are two styles in particular that we have been failing to call out their most unique feature. 

The Women’s Reebok Athletic White stock # J08915 and Black stock # J08917 styles made special for us.  We tell you about their standard features of providing toe protection as well as Electrical Hazard properties. We can go on to tell you about their athletic leather uppers and being fully lined. We tell you about their rubber outsole for performance and molded EVA midsole to cut down weight while adding cushioning, but we have been overlooking their most unique feature.       

The Reebok J08915 and J08917 are made with Reebok DMX Max technology.  DMX Max is a hollow two-pod cushioning system made for the walker seeking the maximum amount of DMX cushioning. Air trapped inside DMX travels back and forth under the foot in concert with each walker’s individual stride. This moving cushion of air delivers sensational cushioning and comfort. DMX provides the wearer with a cushion of air under the foot that moves with the transfer of weight from the heel to the ball of the foot. This technology helps to eliminate heel shock which reduces pressure on the lower back with the transfer of air. The air moves with the transfer of your weight as you roll from the heel to the toe providing stability and all day comfort. In addition to this important feature, the pod reduces weight (air versus compressed EVA) and retains its cushioning ability for the life of the shoe.
