When the request was first made for me to start a Lehigh Outfitters blog column, I did not know what I might be getting myself into at the time.  As I work on this further, I do not know if my fellow Lehigh Outfitters people realized what they were getting themselves into by their request.

I now see the opportunity to try to highlight shoe styles of ours that I feel are falling short of their sales potential.

One Lehigh style that I see falling in that category is our Lehigh stock # 5621.

First of all, our Lehigh 5621 can be an excellent waste industry product because of its having a Puncture Resistant Steel Plate to help protect the wearer from possible injuries when stepping on objects such as nails or needles.

It also has another excellent waste industry feature in its dual density bottom.  Its rubber outer skin helps provide toughness and traction where its sole meets the ground.  Its injected polyurethane midsole helps provide lightness as well as flexibility.

You may think that the Lehigh stock # 5621 is not for you because you do not believe that you need Puncture Resistant footwear. 

You may be correct in your thinking. However, I doubt that you will ever realize that it has a steel plate because of the shoe’s extreme flexible comfort, unless it just happens to protect the bottom of your feet at some time you may least expect it.

Our Lehigh 5621 actually has more features than I detailed here.  Please give consideration to it.  Otherwise, I do not know if you or my co-workers would want to see another column from me regarding it for the time being.  Thank you for your interest in our products.
