Rocky: Rocky Protective Toe Casual Oxford
R2001 Rocky Boots: Rocky Outdoor Gear is a world leader in rugged outdoor and occupational footwear. The Rocky goal to provide quality outdoor and occupational footwear has not changed since the doors opened over 70 years ago. Most known for their outdoor boots, Rocky also has a wide array boots in other categories including Rocky work boots, Rocky western boots, Rocky duty boots and Rocky hiking boots. There have been many upgrades in technology over time allowing for better Lehigh products. One of the most significant changes for Lehigh through the years has been its being acquired by Rocky Brands in 2005. This has helped open the door to some excellent production additions to the Lehigh line including the Rocky protective toe oxford stock # R2001. One of the key features of the Rocky stock # R2001 is its polyurethane outsole material. Polyurethane outsole material not only helps make lighter weight steel toe shoes, but also gives helping take some of the stress and strain away from the wearer’s feet and body. What really helps take the R2001 underfoot comfort to another level is its contoured removable polyurethane cushion insole. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features. Plus, the outsole of R2001 is cored out throughout including up to ½” in the heel strike area allowing for extra thick direct underfoot cushion comfort. Adding to the Rocky stock # R2001 comfort package is its exceptionally soft tumbled upper leather. The tumbling process performed by the leather tannery helps break-up and soften the leather lessening the break-in for the wearer. In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact and Compression standards, Rocky stock # R2001 also complies with its Static Dissipative standards. Static Dissipative footwear is geared to those areas dealing with electronic component assembly, but can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe footwear.
