The excellent surface contact and dispersion channels of its tread along with its specialized rubber compound help promote traction. Seeing that these work boots can find their way at times into water areas that can work their way up the leather, they are made with a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane that helps keep feet dry and comfortable. In addition to being compliant with ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, the Lehigh stock # 4680 work boot also complies with its Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.
