Lehigh Safety Shoe Co. has been providing protective toe safety shoes since the early 1920’s initially under the name of Lehigh Rubber and Leather Company.

There have been many upgrades in technology over time allowing for better Lehigh products.  One of the key comfort related technology changes has allowed for the internal construction of some styles to be cored out in the manufacturing process to allow extra thick cushion insoles that can be used in them.   Lehigh stock # 5346 is designed with those features in mind.

Lehigh stock # 5346 work boot is made with a high quality rugged rubber bottom that is actually baked or fused to the upper allowing this steel toe work boot to be extremely flexible even though it is made with extra thickness to help provide additional insulation from the underfoot heat.     

In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, it has an ASTM F2413-05 compliant internal metatarsal guard helping provide extra protection to the instep area along with the toes.  

As a further addition, the Lehigh stock # 5346 work boot also complies with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.
