Georgia Renegades Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boots
The upper of this 8" Georgia work boot has been constructed with hardy full-grain leather; it has the durability necessary to hold up in tough working conditions. Yet, as hardwearing as this men's boot may be, you'll appreciate the comfort that emanates from the padded leather collar. Plus, its lace-up design allows your foot to rest securely inside of these boots and it enables you to adjust the fit to however you are most comfortable.
The steel toe on this men's work boot is in accordance with the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification and the footwear was built to conform to the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard. Therefore, the steel toe can withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression and the footwear itself helps to protect you from being shocked by electrical equipment.
When this work boot is constructed, Georgia pays special attention to its interior to ensure that the right features are in place to keep your feet comfortable, dry and warm. Comfort is the result of having the interior fully lined and adding in a cushioned insole. To ensure that they have a watertight structure, these boots were constructed with the Georgia waterproof system; it offers 100% dryness protection so you won't have to worry about working with wet feet. Then there is the 400 grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation that will keep your feet feeling comfortably warm, even when you are working in chilly environments.
A great thing to know about these work boots is that they were built with Goodyear welt construction. This is a great way of assembling footwear because it enhances their durability and strength and it makes the footwear more stable. Also, you don't stop wearing your favorite pair of work boots until the outsole has worn out; with this type of construction, the outsole can be repaired easily and inexpensively, which reverts them back to being as good as new.
These Georgia work boots have a steel shank; this feature gives you good stability, it allows you to walk steadily, in addition to supporting the arches on your feet. The Hammer outsole is made of rubber; it has phenomenal flexibility, plus it is resistant to oil, abrasions, chemicals and heat so if you work with or around these matters the outsole will hold up nicely.
