One example of those classic products is Dr. Martens soft toe static dissipative work shoe stock # 80331.
One of the key features of Dr. Martens stock # 80331 is its special blended PVC outsole. The gummy nature of this outsole promotes slip resistance and shock absorbency plus has a static dissipative additive.
Styles such as the soft toe static dissipative # 80331 are specifically designed to help safely discharge static build-up through the shoe’s sole while maintaining a high enough level of electrical resistance. It and shoes designed similarly to it are targeted for work areas such as electronic component assembly that do not require toe protection.

Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards. -
